I wanted to check out Kyla's bistro primarily because of the way it looked. I mean, these two globes outside the resto are enough to make me want to live there! They are so nice to look at. they look quite small in the pictures but these globes can easily seat 12 to 15 people.
Unfortunately, the aesthetics were the only thing that was note-worthy in this resto. the food was ordinary.
I love how they wrapped the huge liught bulbs with mesh
and how they used coconut husks as ceiling fixtures
but the carbonara was so-so
the sizzling pork belly was too fat and oily, but tasted alright
and the chicken ala kiev was a bit dry and the white sauce tasted liek flour. however, the filing (cheese and herbs) was delightful. out of everything we tried at kyla's bisto, this was our fave
