Saranggani Highlands

Last May i visited Gen San or work and pleasure. I stopped by one of my all-time favorite places to hang out in : Saranggani Highlands. And although it is easy to get distracted by the gorgeous view and the beautiful exteriors (it is kinda like a gorgeous secret garden), he food is one thing i always look forqard to when i am there.

This time we tried their sesame dusted fried prawns. They were soooo yummy and crunchy. Definitely a must-try. Im gussing the breadcrumbs were dusted with a little all spice to give it a neo-Asian taste to it. Very satisfying.
The salad we ordered was such a pretty dish and it was really really good too. It had sauteed shrimps, cherries, ripe magoes, and some pomelo and a dressing of honey and mustard. It was definitely a yum-o dish.PLUS i like the unique, fresh, tangy, and sweet taste
However, my fave dish was the crispy hito. They deep fried some fish fillets that was glazed with a sweet and tangy sauce and was topped with green mangoes, shrimp paste, tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers. They served it with a deep fried catfish head ad deep fried catfish tail
