Usually I don't eat breakfast (because, again, i wake up at noon), but this morning I had something to eat. Big mistake. if only i had known that Ezza was in the mood for a food trip....i would have skipped breakfast.
However, I imagine my typical breakfast to be much like what i had this morning.
I had some regular coffee. I make mine with Nescafe gold, coffee mate (or fresh milk) and some brown sugar. usually i add some hazelnut syrup, but this morning i was too lazy.
And then i decided to try the new grape jam my dad was raving about...he loved it so much because according to him it 1.) tasted great and 2.) just like the orange marmalade version, it was sugar free

so this morning i toasted some wheat bread and tried it. dad was right about it being absolutely yum-o, but it didnt say anything about being sugar-free. if i remember correctly it has 12g (WHAT!!!) of sugar in it. But it was fat free (duh)
i also had a bit of the sugar -free orange marmalade, which i think tastes blah (not sweet enough for me)
see the deterrence dad? the orange one says "sugar-free", the grape one doesnt...
i also had some cheese dogs, which were really really good. i love purefoods!
i had some nestea fit (with l-carnitine) with my breakfast and a dose of some cartoons (in tagalog). its my first time to see this toon as well. i jsut realized, everything looks different in the morning
after breakfast, ezza and i headed to coco's which was , unfortunately, still closed. ezza had a craving for pizza so we went straight to basti's brew (victoria plaza) and enjoyed their sisig pizza
this is one of my new favorites. it is really really good, and im sure any sisig lover would go gaga over this one. plus, its really affordable at 149 per order!
ezza had hers with a cookies and cream shake, while i had some iced tea (bottomless for 50 pesos)
after 2 hours ezza started craving for some cake. she wanted to order the choco caramel cake, but i was craving for something more sinful
we decided (well, i decided, actually) to share an order of choco fudge icebox cake (90 pesos for a big slice)
it was sooooo good. the bottom layer was a moist chocolate cake, on top of that was a smooth chocolate mousse and the topmost layer was (im not sure) either cream or white mousse
i love the little black specks on the white mousse, i think its instant coffee powder
after an hour or so ezza started seeing people order the bolognese (which she still insists on calling spaghetti), so we ordered a sering of that. it was super meaty, which explains why this is one of their best sellers. and for 100 pesos, the serving is a-okay!
and then i ate a little more when i came home..we had a very pinoy supper!
there was daing na bangus...really really good
some sauteed vegetables with chicken chunks
and some adobo flakes (kind alike minced adobo that is re0fried until crispy and chewy)
and i ahd some dewberry for dessert
plus some spaghetti sauce on wheat bread for my midnight snack
