Corned Tuna, New Cookies, Leftover Makeover and Clover

i was starting to get curious about all the corned tuna talk. i see it on tv everyday, and ive started to take notice (amazing what advertising can do).

i wanted to try for myself what all the fuss was about, and i decided to try century tuna corned tuna!

i was surprised, it was really good, it kinda tasted like corned beef, but not really, but it tasted really great. they put a spice that is very distinct, unfortunately, i could not identify what it is, but the can also says it had been smoked and stuff

ive tried san marino corned tuna, and honestly, it does not taste as good as this one.
i do think though, that the tuna they use for the corned tuna are "scraps". i mean, theyre all little bits and pieces, and im sure they are like some of the parts that get cut off when making bigger tuna flakes and stuff, but its edible, and tastes equally delicious, it just happens to be smaller; perfect for corned tuna!
I ate mine with wheat crackers, because i wanted to really taste the product..

i dont know about you, but in my house, we eat potato chips whenever we have corned beef, just to increase the unhealthiness of it all

after taking a couple of bites of century tuna corned tuna, i quickly started craving for some good old potato chips

i also had calamnsi spritzers with my corned tuna
i prepared some calamansi juice and then added some cheap white wine!
after a couple of hours it was dinner time and i had some leftover potatoes. i made them over with a mushroom sauce, and i must say, it was relaly good. ill givve you the complete recipe later
as dessert, io had some cheap cookies. formis is a spanish brand, and they go for around 22 pesos per roll. my favorite is the strawberry variant, but this is also very good.s
see the cool animal shapes? i love it!
plus theres a free holographic circle thingie inside each roll

o h, and i gulped that down with some instant melon juice from oishi!
sundays i s the only isntant melon juice and i love, love, LOVE it! i get excited whenever my mom buys some..its sooo good, and even the consistency of the juice is reminiscent to fresh melon juice. try it some time (although, it has been known to get mixed reactions)
and for our midnight sncak, we decided to munch on the trusted clover chips..i find that it is cheesier than before! me heart clover!
all these photos were taken with a sony cybershot w290, thank you SOny!
