Pearl farm , Choco Chip Cookies and Jamon de Bola Sandwiches

Sorry, i wasnt able to post pics yesterday, i was kinda busy attending a hot oktoberfest party and all. haha

try these chocolatre chips. they go for around 120 pesos in SM , for 3 boxes (all different variants). We tried the original (in the pics), hazelnut and the peanut variant is still in the pantry

We've had this box open since yesterday, nobody seems to be eating it. Its a bit dry, but for the price, its alright..

if you are having a cookie craving, this is not for you. However, if you need something "new" and cheap to serve to your guests, ahm, buy these

i cant even see the chocolate chips. theyre good with coffee though, because they're dry
since i was not contented with those cookies i decided to make myself a sandwich before heading off to pearl farm for the party. I was glad that mama bought jamon de bola (filipino xmas ham) this early, and she sliced some for me

i decided to toast some wheat bread (because i dont eat un-toasted bread) with cheese and ate the sandwiches with pringles! i loved it!
and pushed it down with calamnsi juice (philippine lemon juice)

i even drizzled some syrup on one of the sandwiches. the syrup is really easy to make: just boil some pineapple juice with brown sugar until it gets syrupy

i then, got ready for the oktoberfest party in p[earl farm. i arrived the marina at around 6pm and the boat ride took approximately 45 minutes, which kinda left me hungry

i ate some penne pasta, various sausages, which were really really good and some forest ham! again, i love ham! and this one also had pineapple syrup! i love, love, loved it!
also, i had some fish kebabs, chicken barbeque, and pork barbeque (which everyone was raving about!)
, plus i had some empanaditas (small empanadas) with a beef-tomato filling (i think) , macaroni pasta on tarts, and croquettes
i dont know if they put fish or chicken in these croquettes, but it was heavenly! it had so much cheese, and the potato was soooo smooth. i thought for a second it had mayonnaise because it was so rich and smooth, but it was the cheese, which was a good thing since i HATE mayonnaise!
i ended my meal with some dessert, the one at the back is a chocolate cake with a sugar icing, they also had mocha cake with some sorta glaze and a carrot cake with cream cheese icing, the black and white cake was yum-o!

however, as with most buffets the sweets aren't as sweet (which is a good thing for most people), but i need my sugar
after this i had 1 light beer, 2 screw drivers, 2 rum cokes, 1 vodka-7, 1 iced teani and 5 black volcanos. still, i wasnt drunk...not even tipsy

all these pictures were taken with a sony cybershot w290! thank you sony!
